The notorious King Prithvi Narayan
One day, aĀ visitorĀ from GorkhaĀ going byĀ the BhaktapurĀ royal residence overseenĀ toĀ takeĀ nourishmentĀ favoredĀ by Goddess Taleju. He took it back to Gorkha andĀ gave it to hisĀ spouse. WhenĀ RulerĀ Ranjit MallaĀ foundĀ theĀ robbery, he wasĀ crushed.
TheĀ favoredĀ nourishmentĀ had been taken by theĀ RulerĀ of Gorkha, and Ranjit MallaĀ mightĀ no longer commune with Goddess Taleju Bhawani. In hisĀ distress, heĀ sobbedĀ persistentlyĀ until the goddess, along with Ekanta Kumari,Ā showed upĀ to him. They told him that it wasĀ worthlessĀ toĀ grieve, as theĀ nourishmentĀ hadĀ as of nowĀ beenĀ devouredĀ by the GorkhaĀ lord.Ā In spite ofĀ this, Ranjit MallaĀ beggedĀ them for anĀ arrangement. Goddess TalejuĀ educatedĀ him toĀ putĀ aĀ darkĀ shadeĀ between them, promising toĀ banterĀ with himĀ once more. The fall of Kathmandu Valley

The refuge Kings

Ranjit MallaĀ choseĀ toĀ counselĀ hisĀ individualsĀ aroundĀ theĀ problem. TheĀ otherĀ day, he called for anĀ openĀ get-togetherĀ at theĀ royal residence. TheĀ individualsĀ collectivelyĀ choseĀ not toĀ yieldĀ LordsĀ Jayaprakash and Tej Narasingh. The attack on Bhaktapur
The Gorkhali troopsĀ progressedĀ byĀ strollingĀ over theĀ housetopsĀ of the cityās houses,Ā terminatingĀ weaponsĀ as they went. Bhaktapur,Ā missingĀ such weaponry, sawĀ numerousĀ courageousĀ men andĀ ladiesĀ putting up aĀ braveĀ butĀ eventuallyĀ worthlessĀ defense.Ā AmidĀ theĀ assault, theĀ rulersĀ wereĀ locked inĀ revereĀ administrationsĀ at theĀ regalĀ royal residence. As theyĀ attemptedĀ toĀ planĀ anĀ arrangement, the GorkhaliĀ powersĀ rapidlyĀ overpoweredĀ them. A bullet struck Jayaprakash in the leg, and Tej Narasingh was captured.
The fight claimed the lives of numerous standard men, ladies, and children. As the Gorkhali troops neared the royal residence, the protecting watches surrendered. Interior, Ranjit Malla, profoundly devout, was still performing his puja. Realizing he was encompassed, he slipped exterior, looking for divine intercession. He experienced Betal, who cautioned him that his rule was finishing and gave him a sword for security. Ranjit Malla came to the royal residence door, where Prithivi Narayan Shah, imagining fellowship, incapacitated him. With that, the old kingdom of Bhaktapur formally fell to Prithivi Narayan Shah, checking the conclusion of its sway.
